the stiffness in my index finger after the extensor tendon surgery was very painful. i can't even move it. now i'm on my firsy week but still cant move it further down to make a fist. it's very painful. i've undergone physio therapy but still can't make a fist and it's frustrating. I wanna heal fast . i need to go back to work
I’m also on first week, my wrist is stiff as a board , got to gather chi and heal up 💪🏼 best of luck

Thank you professor alatar for saving my life with a quadruple heart bypass 2023 no pain whatsoever a total gentleman
I tore my mcl grade 3 and have a acl grade 2 do i need to undergo surgery or these excercise will help
Nurse is gorgeous 🥰
I didn't have any of that but then I d spend 21days in a coma after my operation of a aortic valve and double bypass
Thank you just had hand surgery will implement this.
Thank you
I had hand surgery, two fingers. During recovery, occupational therapists taught me various finger exercises; however, on my own but too late I discovered one they missed. It consists in closing the hand like a fist and then with the other hand forcing the four fingers down toward the palm of the hand. Not with extreme force but keeping like it for a good ten-minute every time: Done from the beginning, this would have given my hand more movement, as now it does not completely close as a fist compared to the other hand and probably will remain like it for the rest of my life.
Thank you!!!!❤❤
Useful exercises
can you still go on vacation after you had ACL injury?
Hello, I have been follow your channel. Your video content is really awesome but views & subscribers is Very low if YOU permission me I provide info about your channel. Tnx
Very helpful overview.
The usage of the word "scheme" definitely confused me lol
I've had two foot surgeries (one on each foot) and have used a cane when weight bearing. The reason I don't use crutches is cause I fell because one crutch got stuck on a ledge I didn't notice three days after surgery.
Im going for surgery in a few weeks, I tore acl many years ago. do I need to do prehab exercises even though my knee isnt currently injured?
Id say yes , since building more muscle in your leg will help with afterwards for surgery & recovery
so you waited a few years to do surgery?
@@asianangleryes I was on a surgery waiting list for years
yep good enough for me.
I would love to work as a scrub nurse, in NHS Golden jubilee theatre.
Very helpful thank you
A brilliant hospital, I’ve had a stent put in and had a cataract replacement done in there, staff are amazing.
I’m bone on bone in both knees it’s only a matter of time for knee replacement , I’m looking for anything to prolong things before the knee replacements . Pain is not an issue I’ll do anything before it’s fully artificial
"promo sm"
Awesome thank you
I’m 3 months into my ACL tear injury, and I can now do these exercises until surgery next month ! Thank you
Wow you have been waiting 3 months already for surgery... how are you dealing with life? I'm unable to stand or walk and using crutches to get around 😢
@HecticSluzza yeah it’s been pretty terrible, but after the first 2 months I finally could walk but limping and now I can walk but it’s very easy for me to twist it on accident so I have to be careful
so the first couple of months after the injury, you couldnt?
@@asianangler no I definitely couldn’t, I have a grade 3 tear so it’s pretty severe. I’m 4 months into the injury and can walk with minimal pain
@@HopeMaya07 hope you'll get your surgery soon
Hello my father is recommended TO have Lung surgery but he is a diabetic patient So we are very scared for the outcomes can someone tell us its detail wether it Will BE ok or not
I did blood test yesterday due of my work. As a needle phobic I will share my experience, maybe this will help someone I was needle phobic for over 15y due of my childhood trauma in hospital. I was afraid getting blood tests, IVs or vaccinations. And because of that I ignored mandatory medical procedures. But now I am basically free from needle phobia (I am still bit scared, ca 10%) VACCINATIONS/GETTING SHOTS: Pain level 2/10 For those who are afraid getting shot I want to encourage you. Nowdays needles are so thin sharp that your body aint gonna feel almost nothing. When I got the covid vaccines, during the injection I felt like someone was holding a pencil point on my arm and I didn't feel the needle go in or the sting. I asked the nurse when you're going to prick me, and she said it's already done. The only thing that hurts is the pain after the injection, but it depends on the vaccine BLOOD TEST: Pain level 4,5/10 For those who are afraid getting blood test, I want to encourage you. If you are so afraid then 1)dont look 2)distract yourself (pinch yourself on the lip and focus on that) 3)relax your arms (stiff arm makes blood test more painful). The needle was so sharp that I didn't feel anything, but the sting stung because the hand was cleaned with an alcohol cloth beforehand. And when the nurse collected blood, the stinging disappeared. What made it unpleasant was that I felt that the needle was in the vein, but it is not painful, rather unpleasant. But the time passed quickly and the hand did not hurt after that. Thanks to sharp needles and professional medical personel my fear of needles dissapeared last year. Before I end my speech I want to share quote which is 100% true FEAR COMES ALWAYS BEFORE OR AFTER THE SITUATION. DURING THE MOMENT THE FEAR DISSAPEARS
Thanks for sharing mate!
Firstly you need not to have make up to demonstrate it.
This breathing exercise was not taught to me by my US PT inhouse at the hospital. I had my Quadruple CABG last Feb 5th, 2024; Re-admitted to the ER on the 19th Feb 2024 due to multiple secondary diagnosis and symptoms such as dyspnea, tachypnea, orthopnia, and with coughing! I had thoracenthesis done 2x on the 20th and 21st of Feb 2024. Discharged on the 22nd February, 2024. I had a very speedy recovery faster than usual patients with CABG. WHY? My dedicated RN on day one, wrote on my heart pillow this: "WISHING YOU SPEEDY RECOVERY, LOVE~BRANDY". And you know why? Words have POWER to come to fruition. Isaiah 55:11 says "Words do not come back void but to accomplish its original intention or purpose it was sent/ intended for." To corroborate this further, in my Dianetic's Course, when the Subconscious Mind is in aberration, in a trance or subconscious state due to anesthesia, whatever you said to it or, written in it on a pillow and recorded by the 5 senses, upon waking up will be 'enacted' and executed as a command by the Conscious Mind later. This was how my rapid recovery was executed! Plus, thank you YWHW for granting my POSITIVE AFFIRMATION thru prayers and supplication.
Very informative, however in the “summary”, you refer to the dressings, this isn’t mentioned anywhere in this video

Hello Dr., Luck! Thank you for this great information; In regards to hip replacement. I'm considering the Direct Anterior Approach or the Direct Superior Approach. In your opining which is better?
This is spot on thank you for uploading
I was given one of these. Very uncomfortable and scratchy. Wore it once and got rid.
I was given a nhs booklet that suggested doing exercises 5 times a day. It feels weird but it’s doing me good.
I’m having knee ligament surgery in 8 days and I’ve been told nothing about doing these exercises. Furthermore I’ve got both wrists broken and I won’t be able to use crutches, so unfortunately I’m going to cancel operation till my wrists have healed.
So sorry to hear. I have a completely torn ACL, bucket handle torn meniscus, and a grade 2 tear of my MCL. I was told absolutely nothing about exercises by the doctor at least for pre-operation as well. These cause me pain but not a ton just movement pain. I’m curious what happened where you broke both wrists and tore your ACL?
@@isaacschafer5337 It was a motorcycle accident. A car smashed into me. I also had my scrotum torn and testicle rupture. I found out my ACL is torn also but I can walk and use my legs well. I’m not going ahead with operation. I don’t do sports so it’s not an issue. Hope you get well my friend.
@@bottletree33 thank you. Sorry to hear that happened to you that sounds extremely painful
bro i torned my acl 20 days ago and i still cant bend my knee what to you mean do bridge. And everything here in greece is so shit you have to wait so much time to visit the doctor and you have to pay him so much money nice country

The Problem is i have Severe Needle Phobia. as a child i Refused all Vaccines and Hurt Doctors in the process. back in 1976 i had 8 doctors try to force and hold me down to give me all my vaccines i destroyed the medical room and hurt all 9 Doctors as of today i am vaccine Free. i will never step foot in a Medical building. im not worried about these diseases i had them all and im not dead. as far as covid type o blood is immuned to it from what i have been reading. Needle Phobia patients will not Even show up at These Vaccines places its not going to Happen.
